Cambridge Pop-Up Artist Market

A new creative holiday tradition is coming to Main Street (Cambridge) this season. Three artists are joining forces to present the Cambridge Pop-Up Artist Market, a two-day art and gift event happening Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7 at an inviting storefront location, The Valley Hub at 9 W. Main St. in Cambridge.

The pop-up market will feature an eclectic mix of original paintings, mixed media works, fine art photography, handcrafted woodworking pieces, unique jewelry, a new book release, and an array of artisan-made gift items. Visitors will have the chance to meet the artists, shop locally for the holidays, “make a little art”, and discover one-of-a-kind pieces not found in traditional retail stores.

“This event is about bringing creativity directly to the community,” the organizers explain. “We want to give people a warm, accessible way to shop small and support local artists during the holiday season. Whether someone is looking for a special gift or to start an art collection, we’ll have something for every budget.”

The Pop-Up Artist Market is free and open to the public, with ample parking in the rear lot. Light refreshments will be offered. Proceeds from the “make a little art” project will be shared with local food programs.

Among the treasures you’ll find are:

  • Photography (prints, greeting cards, coasters)

  • Painting (large and small canvases)

  • Woodworking

  • Books (local author)

  • Inspirational card decks

  • Hand-crafted luminaries
